Fluoroscopy
Fluoroscopy refers to real-time imaging to observe motion within the body. Images are like moving X-rays or a movie. It's commonly used to detect problems and tumors in the upper and lower GI tract. Mission Imaging Center offers a dedicated fluoroscopic suite and radiologists experienced in interpreting these special images.
To more clearly define the area being studied, these exams may require fasting or other advanced preparation. Please discuss preparation with our office staff prior to coming in for your exam.
